Welcome To Peach Hill Siberians

I Know How Important it is to choose the right Pet for Your Family

My family and I have many allergies, and I cannot express how important it is for us to have found the Siberian Cat.  I am very excited to be raising these hypoallergenic pets. Having focused on controlling allergens in my house for so many years, I am very happy to make them available for other allergic families. They are so loving, affectionate, beautiful and playful, I can’t wait to share them with you.

Hypoallergenic does not guarantee no allergic response. I encourage you to visit, play, and hold my cats for a while. See how you feel in their environment. I enjoy meeting people and the cats love the attention.  Their environment is free of most common household allergens so you can tell without other allergy distractions if you will react to the cat. I also give a full refund for the first two weeks if for any reason it is not working out. It is very important to me that my kittens find loving homes.

I know how significant it is to bring a pet into your family. I will do my best to match the right kitten for you. My goal in raising the Siberians is to reach out to allergic families and create a network of friends that will share stories, pictures, adventures and, of course, problems in raising their kittens.

They are raised in my home, under foot.  They love my dogs! They are exposed to a variety of experiences so they will have an easy transition to your home. They are wonderful travelers!  I make sure they have several traveling experiences before they go so they don’t get stressed when its time to go for a ride.  New pictures will be posted each week so please check back.  Give me a call, I’d love to to tell you about them.  If your allergic to dogs I have a dog free area for you to come and visit.

I offer a full refund for two weeks if you are not thrilled with your kitten and a three year genetic health guarantee. All of my breeders have been DNA tested for any genetic problems using Wisdom Panel, also they have been tested for FeLV and FIV. They are T.I.C.A. Registered.

DESCRIPTION

The Siberian is a medium to large sized long haired cat. A recent survey of the members of TAIGA Siberian Breed Club showed that the males range from 12 to 22 pounds and the females 8 to 12 pounds, with the alters ranging from 11 to 25 pounds. The Siberian should look like a large strong cat, and when picked up feel solid and bulky. This is what is referred to as “heft”. The Siberian is described as round : a rounded body shape, round eyes, round ears set wide apart, with a round sweet face. This roundness sets them apart from the Maine Coon, who is described as having a triangular face, triangular body, and large triangular ears; or the Norwegian Forest Cat who has rectangular features.

The Siberian’s fur is medium long and the coat is dense and resilient to water and cold. They should have an abundant ruff setting off a large head, and large rounded feet with tufts of hair between the toes, and a full tail. Siberians do shed, some frequently and others a few times a year. Keeping them groomed is a must in order to prevent mats from developing.

They come in many different colors and patterns, including but not limited to black, red, blue, silver, white, calico, smoke, colorpoint, mackerel or classic tabbies, etc.

Their personality is mellow and they are devoted to their owners, often greeting them at the door. Their voices are quiet and pleasant, full of trills and chirps. It is often said that they are more like dogs than cats, following you around and easily learning to play fetch or climbing into the shower with you.
